Telling the Truth
I'm a pilgram on a journey. About three years ago I renewed my interest in Christian Science, and little did I know at that time that I would be embarking on the journey of a lifetime! They say a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. For me that step was reading Emilie Cady's wonderful book, Lessons in Truth. I became so convinced that Truth teachings were indeed the Truth of being that I began to find out all I could about this strain of metaphysics. I read Ernest Holmes, Emmet Fox, Lillian De Waters, Joel Goldsmith, William Walters, Emma Curtis Hopkins, as well as the works of many other metaphysicians. It was through Emma Curtis Hopkins, who had come into metaphysics through Christian Science, that I decided to read Mary Baker Eddy again.
At first I found Mrs. Eddy difficult to read and understand, but through my experience of healing through Christian Science practitioners I realized that this was the capital-T Truth that I had been seeking. Along the way I was healed of smoking, a deteriorating disk in my neck, depression, and anxiety, among other things.
In April of 2007 I decided that I needed to move my church involvement from Unity to Christian Science. Here I was, the President of the Board of Trustees, a Prayer Chaplain and the leader of the webteam deciding to take a step away from my involvement in a church I loved. I began praying with our minister about how to make a loving transition. I talked to our Trustees. I talked to our Prayer Chaplains.
Finally, in July of 2007, I took Christian Science Primary Class. This is the training that is given to practitioners. It opened my understanding wider than ever before. As I write this in October of 2007, my time at Unity is coming to an end, and I'm turning a new page. I will always love and cherish my Unity church experiences, but I am now a Christian Scientist, and a new chapter is beginning in my life.

PhotoImpact Tutorials
I've tried most every graphics software program from PhotoShop on down to some wonderfully free graphics editors. PhotoImpact is my editor of choice and I've found it easy to use and very powerful! I've wanted a place to begin sharing some of the things I do with PhotoImpact and here they are for you!
